Someone ones asked me: how are the roads in Portugal? Should I rent a car or a bike? The highways are always in a very good condition and you won’t get stuck in a traffic jam.
The toll system is easy to use, and it won’t cost you a fortune crossing this beautiful country. Once of the highway you can enjoy the local roads which are, most of the time, in a surprising good condition. The more you drive towards the center of Portugal, the more curves you will get. And yes, we are at the heart of this Walhalla for bikers and car drivers. Every year, Góis Moto Club hosts the second biggest biker concentration of Portugal and it is quite a spectacular event!
